Yosimar Reyes
“As undocumented people, we are taught to constantly be grateful for the opportunities this country gifts us. Our labor goes without acknowledgment and when we dare to declare how unjust the system is towards us we are viewed as ungrateful. I am of a new generation of undocumented people who are exhausted from justifying out humanity. I am loud and proud, stand firm with dignity in declaring that my power is what has kept me here. Chinga tu Migra is a curse on the dogs they send after us. We are undocumented magic.”
