Haitian Bridge Alliance
“The Haitian Bridge Alliance chose the phrase "LESPWA ak LIBETE" ( Hope and Freedom) because in Haiti we have a saying "L'espoire fait vivre" and also because HOPE is the only thing that keeps OUR brothers and sisters who find themselves being caged after they survive a dangerous journey from their home countries to make it to the US-Mexico border in search of refuge. These people escaped many heartbreaking situations so we want to remind them to keep hope alive and that we are out here fighting for their FREEDOM and LIBERATION.Anpil men, chay pa lou!-- Many hands make the load lighter!”
